[Resolved] Performance issues on my Pingdom and the public API

We're performing some emergency database maintenance that can cause sporadic issues in opening pages in my Pingdom as well as accessing our public API.

Alerting and monitoring remains unaffected.

We've confirmed the issue and are working on a solution.

Access to my Pingdom is not possible at the moment, but monitoring and alerting are unaffected.

We've fixed the core issue, and are waiting for things to recover.

Access to my Pingdom should be restored for all users, the public API is working as well, but with slightly increased response times.

[Resolved] Increased API response times and slow interface of my Pingdom

We're working on an issue that has caused increases in response time for our public API, this also has some impact on logging in to my Pingdom.

This has been occurring for the past 2 hours and we're working on a fix.

Monitoring and alerting is not affected by this issue.

We will update as soon as we have more details.

The backend systems that we believe are the cause of the issue have been restarted and restored to full capacity. We are monitoring the situation but everything should be back to normal shortly.

Again, this has not impacted monitoring or alerting.
